Marathons

For families bereaved as a result of killings by the mentally ill it can sometimes feel like an emotional marathon dealing with all the trauma and bureaucracy that results – which keeps on coming.

But yesterday, in memory of Sally Hodkin, Sarah Hodkin and Helen Merati actually did run a full marathon along the Thames to help support the work of our charity.

And they smashed it.

Not only did they complete the run in an amazing time, they also exceeded their fundraising target and managed to raise over £1150 for us – an amazing result!

Support like this really does help us continue our work across the country.

We’re really grateful and can’t thank them enough.
